On Friday 18th March 2016, the 1st EPA.L. of Karditsa hosted the official presentation of its activities, within the framework of the European Program Erasmus+ about entrepreneurship in education titled “Open Educational Ways addressed to Entrepreneurship through Skills Enhancement and Development”.
The school Director Mr Pappas Sokratis welcomed the school’s students and teachers, representatives of the Parents’ Association and other guests from neighbouring schools. He briefly described the program’s course of activities so far, underlining that the 1st EPA.L. of Karditsa has in recent years created a tradition in successful participation in European programs. This has benefited, not only the students, but also the teachers involved. In his words: “through these programs the experience, knowledge and skills of those involved are constantly improving”.
The presentation was attended by the Head of the Secondary Education Directorate, Mr Papaouskas, and by Mr Ntouvlis, in charge of the Secondary Education Directorate European Programs Office. Mr Goumas Asterios and Ms Giannakoudi Aikaterini, teachers of the school and members of the Program’s team, made the presentation and showed the importance of developing entrepreneurship in the Greek educational system.
Other guests who were present include Mr Tsiamalos (School Advisor), Mrs Broutsou, (President of the Parents’ Association), Mr Balomenos (Director of the Vocational Training Institute), Mr Mouziouras (Subdirector f the Vocational Training Institute), Mr Nikolakakos (Director of the School Laboratory Centre), Mrs Maggina (Subdirector f the School Laboratory Centre), Mr Zaxaris (Director of the 5th Lyceum of Karditsa), Mr Morfos (Director of the Magoula Secondary School) and Mr Baroutas (a volunteer partner, employee at the Bank of Piraeus).
