Visit to the Local Chamber of Commerce in Karditsa

On Monday, 15th February 20156, students from the 11th grade of the 1st EPA.L. of Karditsa visited the local Chamber of Commerce. This visit was included in the actions of the European Erasmus+ program titled: ‘Entrepreneurship in Education’ in which our school participates, along with the action ‘Virtual Enterprises’ which is coordinated by SENJA Greece, an organization for youth entrepreneurship in Athens.

Our school, always a pioneer in various programs, tried and managed to qualify for such a program, so it provide its students with relevant knowledge. We therefore visited the Chamber of Commerce, where students and teachers were informed about various interesting issues: the entrepreneurial situation in our prefecture, as well as the innovative entrepreneurial ideas some of our fellow citizens have already materialized. The representatives, Mrs Georgia Kotroni and Mr Manolis Mavrogiannis, gave us useful information as to how to start a new business, what procedures are required, possible ways of receiving funding and methods of advertising.
