Open Educational Ways addressed to Entrepreneurship
through Skills Enhancement and Development

Partners meeting in Darmstadt, Germany

4th European project meeting

As part of a European Erasmus+ program in which the 1st EPA.L. of Karditsa is involved and acts as coordinator, teachers from our school visited Darmstadt, Germany, for the fourth project meeting. The participating countries are: Germany, Greece, Italy, Poland, Romania and Portugal. The aim of the project is initially to conduct research about the teaching of entrepreneurship in European schools and its quality. The next phase will involve the creation of a guide for both students and teachers, with activities which could introduce the notion of entrepreneurship and encourage its application in class. The representative teachers from the 1st EPA.L. of Karditsa were the director Mr Pappas Sokratis and Mrs Giannakoudi Aikaterini.

As entrepreneurship is a necessity nowadays, this project hopes to offer the school and the local community the chance to familiarize itself with the idea and put it into practice. The 1st EPA.L. has dynamically participated, is participating, and will continue to participate, in such actions, whose goal is to upgrade the quality of education that our students have access to. Moreover, it aims at seizing any opportunity that arises for teachers to gain more knowledge and experience through their work at school, and through their involvement in innovative projects.
